HelpStay™ (hereinafter referred to as "helpStay", "we", "us" or "our") embraces the sharing economy and operates a platform and community marketplace that helps people form lasting offline experiences and relationships directly with one another. It is a place where members can create and provide hospitality exchanges around the world in return for assistance on volunteer work projects, through our website. This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you about how we treat Personal Information that we process about you. If you do not agree to any part of this Privacy Policy, then you should stop accessing our website and deactivate your HelpStay™ account. Definitions
Where the definition of a term does not appear in this Privacy Policy (such as “Help”, “Stay”, etc.), it shall be given its definition as outlined in our Terms of Service. “Aggregated information” means information about all of our users or specific groups or categories of users that we combine together and which does not include the users’ Personal Information. "Personal Information" means information relating to a living individual or business, who is or can be identified either from that information or from that information in conjunction with other information that is in, or is likely to come into, the possession of the company.

Online Privacy Policy Only
This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline.

What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form.

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or photograph, age, sex, date of birth, languages spoken, skills. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

How do we protect your information? 
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Do we use cookies? 
Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at any time by logging into their control panel and going to the 'Edit Profile' page.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
